![]() I looked and looked in the BIOS but couldn't find a virtualization entry, so then I searched and read for many hours, finally finding this post. People say you can use it without it but mine is slow without Virtualization being enabled. Is there a version of Bluestacks where it runs with Virtualization being disabled? It's very slow for me and I am NOT going into BIOS to turn Virtualization on. That's not that typical of an avenue though. Virtualization is disabled by default because you could have a rootkit run as a hypervisor and be completely undetectable from the OS itself. Note that some computers have VTx disabled. If you use VirtualBox or VMware, you must close that programs before using Bluestacks. ![]() Bluestacks has a page with instructions to disable Hyper-V on Windows 10. You must disable Hyper-V to run Bluestacks without problems. If you have Windows 10 with Hyper-V activated, the hypervisor starts at boot time.
